HAZTEXT^TM

HazTEXT(tm) is an innovative service aimed at providing emergency responders with critical information at the scene of a hazardous materials incident or providing enforcement authorities with information required to check details of a chemical shipment.



The service can be accessed via any mobile phone+ capable of sending and receiving text messages.



The user simply sends a text message in the format "Hazmat ####", where #### is the four digit United Nations number, to 60300. Within seconds the user will receive a text message back providing details of the proper shipping name, the hazards, emergency action code and the additional personal protection code.*



For example: Texting Hazmat 1230 to 60300 will provide details for Methanol.
